Tim Austin announced that he has relocated his award winning recording facility from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia - home to Doobie Shea since the construction of the original
Doobie Shea Studios in 1987 - to the Nashville area. Drawing on a
decade's experience with the now defunct award-winning Doobie Shea Records
label (and Austin's unique track record as artist, engineer and producer)
since 1987, Doobie Shea has been known for it's unsurpassed quality,
tracking sessions and mixing by hundreds of the Industry's most

Stewart, Marty Raybon, Dale Ann Bradley, Bill Emerson, Bobby Hicks, Don
Rigsby, Rickie and Ronnie Simpkins and Mark Newton, as well as IBMA Hall of

Chubby Wise and Don Stover.
Since the recent relocation to the Nashville
area recording in other locations are all now possible as Tim frequently
travels to many other locations working at choice studio's that are more
conveniently located for everyone involved. Austin has played many roles in
the music industry, forming the highly successful Lonesome River Band some
20 years ago. He left the band after 13 years to pursue his desire to
engineer and produce recordings. Doobie Shea now offers more accessibility
to practically everyone.
